Present yourself and your ideas successfully in international contexts
In contemporary business life, we are often confronted with international situations in which we have to present and prove ourselves and our ideas to others. Meeting these challenges requires candour but also substantial knowledge about, and sensitivity to, (cultural) differences and potential problems. Even the most carefully prepared presentation can turn disastrous when basic points such as the choice of appropriate colors or symbols are not taken into consideration.
To enable participants to meet the challenges of working in and with international teams, the main focus of this training course lies on intercultural competence in negotiation and work situations. The approach is practice-oriented and supplememnted by short units of theoretical input.
This training does not centre on any one particular culture but rather focuses on common situations and techniques in international contexts: presentation skills as well as potential issues in negotiations.
You will gain insights into
– Intercultural Communication
– culture standards and cultural dimensions
– relationship orientation and attitudes towards time
You will learn about
– the effects of different communication and negotiation styles
